We are very excited to offer some Summer Team Training options. This program is for any athlete that was on one of our regular youth teams throughout the season (or an equivalent training program).
Summer Team with CCC focuses on making off-season gains, getting ready for the fall competitions and supports the transition to the outdoors. You’ll have the option to add on outdoor days*, where experienced coaches help you develop confidence and skill on real rock. Get psyched and keep things fresh by tackling projects outside on the weekends!
During the week, you’ll be training alongside motivated athletes and cycle through group skill, conditioning and tactical drills to improve all facets of your climbing. Athletes can expect to receive strength and weakness assessments and individualized strength training plans catered to their specific needs. Bi-weekly competition simulations will keep your mental game fresh over the summer and give you a chance to improve your competition strategy in a fun and supportive environment.
Whether your goal is to get a head start on the comp season, focus on strength gains, or chase outdoor projects, we’ve got your back. Come train with us and take your climbing higher.

Practices will be Tuesday’s & Thursday’s 5 – 8pm (with Competition Simulations every 2nd Thursday).
June 18th – July 25th (6 weeks) – $220+gst
July 30th – Aug 29th (5 weeks) – $180+gst
Outdoor Days: On Saturdays.
Outdoor Days are an optional add-on. $50+gst / day.
The Goal of the Outdoor Days is to get success on real rock! We want our athletes to feel comfortable climbing on real rock and discover the wonderful feeling it is to get to the top of your route project! We believe in having our athletes discover the love of climbing and the outdoors and take their indoor skills outside. Join us on Saturdays where our coaches will help you navigate climbing hard on real rock, break down the crux sequences and help you systematically achieve success! Whether it’s your first 12a, 13a or 14a. Let our coaches help you get there!
How it’s going to work.
We’ll pick some cool crags where the team/group can climb. We’ll meet you out there and hike in together. The coaches will help set up / select some good short term and long term objectives to climb. Then we get to work! All while having fun and supporting each other.
Climbing helmets are mandatory for all athletes and coaches when at the crags.
Other equipment: like quickdraws, ropes and anchor material, should be supplied by participants. A small selection will be made available by the CCC (our end goal is to encourage self-sufficiency when climbing outdoors.
14 and up
-Can lead, toprope and boulder at any crag.
-In order to build and clean anchors the athlete must demo ability on the ground first to head coach.
-If unable, they can lead and TR, but other athletes or coaches must build and clean anchors.
-Parents are encouraged to climb and belay as part of the group.
-Stick clip first draw for all athletes on lead (minimizes ground fall potential).
-Can lead, TR and boulder at any crag (coaches must build and clean anchors) according to the skills they demonstrated during the past year on team.
-Parents are encouraged to spot and belay

Private guiding is also available for those who cannot make the training dates (rates cannot be discounted)
