Redpoint Teams. Register now for September.
Not every climber is interested in competing, so our Redpoint Teams turn their focus towards personal development and progression in the climbing grades for bouldering and routes.
Starting the first week of September 2024, our teams will run until the end of May 2025 and will focus on progressing each climber’s abilities on the wall throughout the season.
We have Redpoint Teams at each gym and currently have space at each gym except for Rocky CCC, please go to the links below to find more details about each program and to register. Climbers interested in this team must be born in 2011 or earlier to join any of these teams.

2024-2025 CCC Team Tryouts September
Do you want to climb more and train in a team environment? Do you want to compete in fun climbing events? Join a CCC Team to be a part of this climbing community! Our climbers will create lasting friendships, learn how to challenge themselves, train hard and succeed.
Tryouts for available Sport and Development Teams will be held at our Chinook location between September 3 – 5, 2024.
Please be aware: registering for tryouts does not guarantee a placement on one of the CCC Teams.
DETAILS
Interested climbers who are born in 2012 or earlier are eligible to participate in these tryouts.
Climbers must reserve a time slot on one of the days available. The available time slots will be 5:15pm – 6:30pm and 6:45pm – 8:00pm on September 3 – 5.
The fee for this tryout is $20 + GST.
Climbers will be placed in groups with our coaches and will be run through a simulated training session. There will be some specific climbing drills to complete as the coaches review each climber’s ability to listen to instructions, follow coaching directions and try hard when climbing.
Please bring your climbing shoes and a chalk bag to this tryout; if you do not have these, please arrive early enough to rent at least climbing shoes from the Front Desk. We will not be using the ropes so no harnesses are required for this tryout.
We do inquire about location and time preferences when you register. The gyms that have spaces available for new climbers to the teams are Hanger, Stronghold and SoCal.
All climbers will be notified by the evening of September 6, 2024 with the result of the tryout. Invited climbers would start with their team the following week.

2024-2025 CCC Sport Team Tryouts June.

Tryouts for all Sport Teams will be held at our Chinook location between June 17 – 22, 2024.
Please be aware:registering for tryouts does not guarantee a placement on one of the CCC Sport Teams.

Interested climbers who are born between 2012 and 2009 are eligible to participate in these tryouts.
Climbers must reserve a time slot on one of the days available. The available time slots will be 5:15pm – 6:30pm and 6:45pm – 8:00pm on June 17 – 20. Please note: climbers are expected to also attend our competition simulation on Saturday, June 22 as part of this tryout. This will be held at our SoCal location from 9am – 11am.
The fee for this tryout, including the Saturday session, is $20 + GST.
Climbers will be placed in groups with our coaches and will be run through a simulated training session. There will be some specific climbing drills to complete as the coaches review each climbers ability to listen to instructions, follow coaching directions and try hard when climbing.
