White Buddha, Kananaskis Country, Alberta

White Buddha is a sunny, south facing crag located just outside of Bragg Creek, approximately 60 km southwest of Calgary, that offers winter and spring bouldering opportunities.  This area was first discovered by Daren Tremaine, Ryan Johnstone and Rich Castillo.  It is a limestone face filled with pockets, slabs and overhangs, which serve to keep out rain and even snow!

 

This area offers boulders ranging from V2 to V10, making it a welcoming destination for all abilities of climbers.
