This area is located approximately 27 km North of Chain Lakes Provincial Park on Highway 22.  This area was found completely by chance by Todd Free, who was flying on a RAP Attack mission by helicopter.  He called Walson Tai and said, “I’ve found a boatload of boulders!”.  This area is now known as The Beach and since then, there has been another area discovered known as Skyline Boulders.  The type of rock in this area is sandstone so it is extremely important not to climb on it when it is wet or raining for at least 24 hours as holds can easily be broken off.
