SoCal Social is a community event curated to bring our climbing community together and give everyone the opportunity to compete whether you’re a new or experienced climber.

Scramble format with 60 boulders to try throughout the entire gym. Boulders will be rated 1 – 60, 1 is the easiest 60 is the hardest. See how far you can get! Participants will have 2.5 hours to complete their top boulders. You can try any boulder as many times as you want. Your 6 hardest will count towards your score.

Climbing, DJ, Draw Prizes throughout the entire night!

Join us for the afterparty in our boulder garden when you’re done climbing!

Beer tasting from Ol’ Beautiful, music, games, more draw prizes, and happy hour prices with a bespoke menu from Approach Café + Bar

Winners for each category will be announced at 10:30 pm
 
Come for the climbing, come for the party!

Spectators are welcome, but we suggest they participate. It's much more fun that way!

SoCal is having a CCC Youth Team Welcome Party

200+ CCC Youth athletes are celebrating the start of the season!

Youth teams are a big part of our climbing community, and we are really excited to organize this event for the first time! 🎉

Access to bouldering areas, training boards, and workout areas will be unavailable between 6pm to 11pm. Our retail, cafe, and restaurant space will remain open to all customers during this time.

SoCal members will have multi gym access all day on Friday, September 13th.

Socal will operate as usual, 6am to 6pm.

Approach Café & Bar will open as usual 5pm to 10pm! Check their menu! @approachyyc

Our staff are some of the most active members at the CCC and the core of our organization.
Our managers are the crushers behind the scenes, working with all groups of staff to help operationalize our vision and protect the values the CCC has built since opening in 1995.
