Alberta Youth and Open Bouldering Provincials

Location: Calgary Climbing Centre Hanger Location. www.calgaryclimbing.com/hanger/.

Dates: January 28 & 29 2017

Jan. 28^th – Qualifiers for Youth and Open

Jan. 29^th – C3 Scramble Fun comp and Youth and Open Finals

Format: 

Provincials:  All categories will use the 5 minutes on, 5 minutes off format for Qualifiers and Finals.  The best of each category will advance to Day 2 Finals, usually 5 to 8 climbers per category.

C3 Scramble:  A traditional 40 problem competition where everyone has 2.5 hrs to climb their 6 best problems.  This bouldering competition is available as a stand-alone event and to all the Provincials’ participants that do not make the Finals in their respective categories. The Scramble portion/option of the weekend does not count towards any Alberta ranking points, it is just for fun.

Registration:  Registration is now CLOSED.

Registration Deadline:  Registration closes on Tuesday January 24^th @ 9pm.

Cost: $90+gst for Alberta Bouldering Provincials (and C3 Scramble if you don’t make Finals)

or $40+gst for C3 Scramble Fun comp only.                       *There is no spectator fee all weekend*
